Any guide on the group sends one request for the whole group, filled in from the guest forms.
Before you start
- Trip and people
- One CIS whose guests answered the gear questions, a guide on the group and an authorized Inventory reviewer.
- Starting state
- Guests need equipment; no duplicate active coverage for the selected products.
Run the scenario
- 1GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Open the group's request
Expected evidence
Build gear request opens one request for the whole group, already filled in from each guest's form answers. Any guide on the group can send or edit it.
- 2GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Settle each guest's sizes
Expected evidence
Open a guest to see their form answers next to the items. When an answer matches more than one product, pick the right one with one tap (a size Inventory pinned comes already chosen); missing forms do not prevent a request.

Review every guest’s items
Expected evidence
Keep every unit attributed to a guest. Check existing active equipment to avoid duplicate requests; returned, damaged, lost or cancelled items can be requested again. Going back preserves the draft quantities.
- 4GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Send the group's request
Expected evidence
sending records guest-attributed demand, shows the sender on the CIS and notifies Inventory, without reserving stock or confirming a pickup.
- 5GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Track, edit or cancel pending demand
Expected evidence
Any guide on the group can edit or cancel it before approval; another request waits until this one is approved. Shortages leave the request pending. Program creation can proceed.
Scenario completed
Track, edit or cancel pending demand
- Demand
- Draft→Requested; no stock held
If it does not match
- If your guest is missing, ask the coordinator to review the assignment. A Program or transfer duty does not grant access.
- On a connection error, retry the same action and verify saved status. Do not assume success or create a second request.
- Guest scope comes from coordinator assignments or the sole eligible guide. Demand reserves no stock and never gates Program creation.
