The guest's guide reports each item as Good, Damaged or Lost, with a note and a photo when it isn't fine. Inventory's check alone releases usable stock.
Before you start
- Trip and people
- One CIS with assigned guests, a signed-in guide and an authorized Inventory reviewer.
- Starting state
- Picked-up guest equipment coming back at the end of the stay.
Run the scenario
- 1GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Open Return gear
Expected evidence
It lists every picked-up item your current guests still have, grouped by guest; every listed item is returned. Other guests' equipment stays unchanged.
- 2GuideTrailhead Mobile · CIS · Guest gear
Mark each item and report
Expected evidence
Each item starts as Good. Mark it Damaged, with a note and a photo, or Lost, with a note. There is no drop-off place to fill in. The report does not restore availability.
- 3InventorySettleWise · Inventory · Gear requests
Inspect the reported units
Expected evidence
Inventory's check opens with the guide's report filled in, including notes and photos, and Inventory records its own verified outcome for each unit. A guide's report alone is not verified physical receipt.
- 4InventorySettleWise · Inventory · Gear requests
Release only usable returns
Expected evidence
Usable returns restore availability once. Repairable, unusable, missing, lost or under-review items remain unavailable and traceable; missing and under-review items return to Inventory's list for a final outcome. No automatic financial charge is created.
Scenario completed
Release only usable returns

If it does not match
- If your guest is missing, ask the coordinator to review the assignment. A Program or transfer duty does not grant access.
- On a connection error, retry the same action and verify saved status. Do not assume success or create a second request.
- Report exact units; only Inventory-verified usable returns restore availability, once and without automatic charges.
